Hummus
Ingredients:
1 can (15.5 oz) Chick-peas/Garbanzo beans, rinsed
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
½ t. Kosher salt
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup tahnin, well stirred
Lemon Juice- freshly squeezed from one small lemon
¼ cup water
Paprika
Parsley
Lets Cook:
Combine minced garlic w/salt, form into a paste. Add all remaining ingredients: rinsed chick-peas, olive oil, lemon juice, tahini, water with garlic paste and puree in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Add a bit more olive oil if desired for optimal consistency. Chill- and sprinkle with a dash of paprika, and chopped parsley just before serving. Enjoy this healthy and easy homemade dip!
